At approximately 4:46 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division attempted to stop an individual on a black motorcycle for speeding on Interstate 65 near the 173 mile marker, in Autauga County.
The suspect on the motorcycle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued southbound on the Interstate. The suspect was stopped at approximately 4:53 p.m. and taken into custody on I-65 near 185 mile marker, n Montgomery County. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
