MONTGOMERY POST – A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, has caused a road closure. The crash involved two commercial vehicles that struck the bridge on U.S. 82 near Autauga County 37 and has the roadway completely blocked.
The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) along with Autauga County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) are on scene assisting Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division with the crash. A
LEA Troopers are asking everyone to avoid this area and, if possible, seek an alternate route. ALEA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
