Saturday, October 16, 2021, Main Street Wetumpka held its first annual Fall Farmer’s Market that was sponsored by First Community Bank of Wetumpka. It was such a wonderfully put together event that brought together many within the community.

“This is our first time giving this event a try in the fall. It was such a success that we look forward to making it an annual event in Wetumpka. HGTV’s ‘Home Town Takeover’s’ Ben and Erin Napier built our beautiful pavilion to hold our Farmers Markets and it worked out amazing!” said Dakota, with Main Street Wetumpka.

Main Street Wetumka’s sole purpose as a nonprofit organization is to bring economic vitality to the Wetumpka area so they hold their usual Farmers Market from about Mid May until the 26th of August every year in the Summer.

There were several vendors in attendance. Wildly Blessed with Allyson Andrews, from Eclectic, was present with a mini version of her petting zoo. “I have every type of petting zoo animal you can imagine! We do birthday parties, events, and everything!” Allyson Andrews with Wildly Blessed can be reached through her website wildlyblessed.store or 334-799-2254.

Tif’s Piggy Pickles and More was present with the most delicious butter pickles in Elmore County. She had  jarred goods such as relishes, eggs, peppers, and pickles. There was a small park, face painting, and a cornhole set up for children.

To capture the family memories of the event Chrietzberg Photography was capturing photographs for families. T & K Hobby Shop was also present with a range of beautifully crafted woodwork from cutting boards to hand carved portraits. “We work for the city and wanted to show our support!” If you can dream it, they can carve it!
