During November 2025, the Millbrook Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit initiated an investigation in response to multiple reports of vehicles being broken into during softball tournaments being held at the City of Millbrook’s Mill Creek Park.
During the course of their investigation, Millbrook detectives were able to collect physical evidence, as well as identify (3) suspects wanted in connection with multiple cases which occurred during this time. Warrants of arrest were obtained for all (3) suspects based on evidence and probable cause developed pursuant to this investigation.
In January of 2026, (2) of that (3) suspects were placed under arrest, with each being charged with (2) counts of Unlawful Breaking an Entering a Vehicle, Theft of Property 1st Degree, and (5) counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. Those alleged offenders were Kameron Rieves, 20 years of age and Randy Martin 18 years of age, both residents of Millbrook. At the time the initial arrests were made, the third suspect remained at large, unable to be located.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the third wanted suspect regarding these cases, identified as Kenneth Graves, a 19-year-old Montgomery resident, was taken into custody at his Montgomery residence, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Graves was placed under arrest, being charged with Robbery 1st Degree, (2) counts Unlawful Breakingand Entering a Vehicle, Theft of Property 1st Degree and (5) counts Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. Graves was transported to the Elmore County Jail, where he remained under no bondpending an Anaiah’s Law hearing.
I want to commend the work of our patrol officers, who initially responded to these offenses, which were committed at Mill Creek Park. Our patrol officers were able to gather valuable intelligence, coordinating with the detectives in our Criminal Investigations Unit, who worked diligently processing and submitting physical evidence and pursuing investigative leads, which eventually led to the identification of the suspects in these cases. Pursuant to their investigation, our detectives were able to develop the probable cause necessary to obtain warrants of arrest against the alleged offenders in these cases. Two of the three offenders, Rieves and Martin were apprehended shortly after arrest warrants were obtained.
Graves, who was apprehended at his Montgomery residence, on Wednesday, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Service, also faces charges stemming from the armed robbery of an individual, which is alleged to have occurred earlier this month in a Millbrook residential area.
I appreciate the diligence and outstanding work done by our officers and Criminal Investigative Unit in working these cases. Our citizens can be proud of the men and women who protect and serve our City, as evidenced by their performance in thesecases. I’m certainly proud to work alongside each and every one of our dedicated officers and staff. I also want to extend my personal appreciation to the U.S. Marshal’s Service for their assistance in this case. A huge part of our success is attributed to the outstanding working relationships that we enjoy with our law enforcement partners in the River Region.
