Pet of the Week – Cookie
Cookie is a 1-year-old female Shepherd/Retriever mix who has already been spayed. She is an owner turn in because her owner could no longer take care of her. Cookie is, quite simply, a gorgeous dog. She has a medium length tan coat with black markings. Cookie’s coat is so pretty and SO soft! She does have some white markings, a black muzzle, and black highlights! Cookie weighs 60 pounds, so she is a large dog. She is family friendly and would be good with children and other dogs. Cookie is a bit shy at first but warms up to you quickly. She has such a pleasant disposition–she will make some adopter so happy!
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
