Local resident arrested pursuant to assault investigation

On September 28, 2025, Millbrook police responded to a local medical facility regarding a report of an assault. The victim alleged that she was present at a family gathering at a Millbrook residence, when a verbal altercation turned physical.

The victim states that she was approached/confronted by the alleged offender, later identified as Lillie A. Wilson, a 60-year-old Millbrook resident.

The victim stated that she pushed Wilson away, at which point it is alleged that Wilson obtained a beer bottle, broke the bottle, at which point she caused a laceration to the victim’s arm.

The victim was transported to a local medical facility, where she was treated for her injury, requiring 15 staples to close the wound. Pursuant to an investigation, an arrest warrant for Assault 2nd Degree was obtained for Wilson’s arrest.

On October 30, 2025, detectives with the Millbrook Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit, accompanied by officers from the Patrol Division, responded to the residence of the alleged offender, Ms. Lillie Wilson. Pursuant to an arrest warrant issued in this case, Ms. Wilson was taken into custody, without incident.

Wilson was transported to the Millbrook Police Department, where she was processed and later transported to the Elmore County Jail, where was turned over to jail staff on a $5,000.00 bond.
