An off-duty Prattville police officer, Cpl. Colton Lambert, was arrested, Oct. 14, 2025, at 3:25 a.m. in Millbrook for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
As per their policy, the Prattville Police Department has placed Lambert on administrative leave pending disciplinary action while the incident is under investigation.
Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson addressed the incident with EA News, emphasizing the department’s commitment to integrity and equal application of the law.
“No one is above the law, including our own officers,” said Thompson. “We hold ourselves to the same standards, if not higher than, we expect from the community we serve.”
The department reiterated that, while the arrest is a serious matter, all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
