A witchy night with a little costume magic? On Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, the second annual Broomstick & Brews – Sip, Shop and Stroll event took place, where adults filled the streets of downtown Wetumpka and enjoyed a spellbinding night of fun. Witches, warlocks, and magical beings came dressed up in the best enchanted attire.

Broomsticks and brew brought adult locals and tourists alike to this magical event to support local businesses in the downtown area. The shops in downtown Wetumpka stayed open late for the witches and warlocks, and participating shops offered exclusive sips, tasty treats, deals, giveaways, discounts, and more.

During the event, attendees joined in several themed contests, including a witch hat contest with Main Street Wetumpka, a broom contest at Tiers of Sweetness, LLC., a costume contest at Taste of Fain, and a wand contest at Scent Wizards.
