The Tallassee Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated another successful year on the greens with its annual Golf Tournament, held Monday, Aug. 25, at Wynlakes Golf and Country Club. With 20 competitive teams, dozens of sponsors, and a full day of camaraderie, community, and friendly competition, the event proved once again to be one of Tallassee’s most anticipated gatherings.
“The weather was absolutely perfect, especially for an August day in Alabama—making the event even more enjoyable.” said Carmen Rodgers, Director of the Tallassee Area Chamber of Commerce. ““This tournament is more than just golf, ” It’s a celebration of teamwork, business partnerships, and the spirit of Tallassee. We are so grateful to every player, sponsor, and volunteer who helped make this day such a success.”
After a full day on the course, two teams rose to the top. Gross Winner is JACO Sales – recognized for the lowest overall score of the day. And Net Winner: Logan Steers – State Farm – recognized for the best score after handicaps were applied.
The Chamber extended heartfelt appreciation to its generous sponsors whose support makes the tournament possible.
“A huge thank you to all of our sponsors,” Rodgers said. “You all are the best and the Chamber could not hold events like this without each and every one of you. On behalf of myself and the board we are so very appreciative.”
