MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, has claimed the life of a Montgomery juvenile. The 17-year-old was fatally injured when the 2011 Nissan Altima the teen was driving, left the roadway, went down a steep embankment and overturned. The youth was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Chilton County 16, approximately two miles north of Plantersville, in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
