“I have absolutely enjoyed serving as an Alabama State Foundation Student Ambassador. It has enabled me to be active in communities across Alabama, promoting the importance of competitive sports. This role has provided me with the platform to share my passion for sports while participating in exciting events and creating lifelong memories. I highly recommend that students consider applying to become an ASF Student Ambassador.”

WHAT ARE THE ALABAMA STATE GAMES?

The Alabama State Games are organized by the ASF Foundation, founded at the request of the U.S. Olympic Committee in 1982 to create Olympic-style, state-level events. Our first Games were held in 1983 at Auburn with just four sports and 600 athletes. Fast forward to 2024: we just completed our 42nd edition, featuring more than 20 sports and over 4,000 athletes of all ages and skill levels. Beyond medals and memories, our mission is deeply rooted in academic and athletic achievement. Through our Scholarship Initiative, we’ve awarded 647 scholarships totaling nearly $460,000—empowering athletes to succeed both on the field and in the classroom.
