The Alabama ABC Board announced a lineup of special sweepstakes events for September in celebration of National Bourbon Heritage Month.
For Bourbon Heritage Month, a month-long recognition of bourbon as America’s “Native Spirit,” the ABC Board will hold a sweeps shopping experience each Saturday in September.
Each weekend will highlight one of four titans of the bourbon industry and a variety of their allocated brands.
Heaven Hill – Sept. 6
Brown Forman – Sept. 13
Jim Beam – Sept. 20
Sazerac – Sept. 27
Sweepstakes Entry Details:
Registration will open Aug. 4 at 8 a.m. and close Aug. 24 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Visit the ABC Board website to select up to four stores and up to four events for which you would like to be considered. This provides entrants 16 chances to win a place in line.
To be eligible, Alabama residents must be 21 years of age or older. Active-duty military stationed in Alabama with proof of residency are eligible to enter.
The name and address submitted on the official Alabama ABC Board sweeps entry form must match the information on Alabama-issued ID or driver’s license. Mismatches will result in forfeiture.
All entrants will be informed of their status, winners and non-winners, by email and text within 48 hours of the close of registration.
Sweepstakes Details
Winners are randomly selected and may win only one spot in line over the course of the sweeps. Winning a place in line does not guarantee access to specific products.
A total of 1,600 places in line will be awarded over the course of September Bourbon Heritage Month Sweepstakes.
Available products and retail costs will be posted Aug. 4 at 8 a.m.

Store 185 – 1641 Ashville Rd., Leeds
Store 226 – 3051 Frederick Rd., Opelika
As with previous ABC Board sweeps, a walk-up line will be available to those who did not win a place in line. Places in the walk-up line are available on a first come, first served basis.
