Sunday was officially the 226th birthday of Prattville’s founder, Daniel Pratt. Traditionally, the day is marked with a recognition ceremony and wreath laying at his grave and Pratt family cemetery at what will soon be Vista Park.
This year, Founder’s Day is getting a fun twist. As Vista Park is currently having renovations, the celebration will be held during the CreekWalk Concert series Tuesday, July 22, at Pratt Park. The Prattaugan Museum will have birthday cake, balloons, giveaways for the kids and more for all to enjoy.
Come out Tuesday for one last summer celebration with the band For Heaven’s Sake, at 6:30 PM in Pratt Park! Bring your friends, family and a couple of lawn chairs!🌟🎤
