From the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office
On 07/07/2025, Teresa Moore was found in a residence on October Drive in Autauga County deceased with multiple stab wounds. Her roommate, Patricia Goodson was also found in the residence unconscious due to a drug overdose. The investigation determined that Patricia Goodson was responsible for the murder and warrants were obtained on 07/08/2025. Due to Patricia Goodson being in ICU at Prattville Baptist Hospital, she was not taken into custody until 07/14/2025 and transported to the Autauga County Metro Jail without incident or injury.
