Autauga County sheriff’s deputies responded to a third party 911 call Monday night, to find one woman dead and another incoherent at a residence on October Drive. Sheriff Mark Harrell said deputies located one woman in a home who was deceased, apparently from stab wounds. The woman’s identity has not yet been officially released, as the incident remains under investigation.
A second woman was found who was incoherent, Harrell said, possibly under the influence. She was transported to an area hospital. She did not appear to have any wounds. Investigators have not been able to talk to her yet, as she has not regained consciousness. No arrest has been made at this time.
The incident happened near the Old Kingston Community of Autauga County, Sheriff Mark Harrell said.
“The second woman who was transported has not yet been able to speak about what took place. We are actively investigating this case but have no further information to release at this time,” Harrell told the EAN.
