On Saturday, Pine Level celebrated their 2nd Annual Independence Day Celebration that included food, fun and floats at the Pine Level Community Center. Over 700 attended this annual event, officials estimated.

The Grand Marshall for the parade was beloved Meteorologist James Spann. There was also an opportunity for a meet and greet with Spann after the parade for all attendees.

“This has been a great day for the town of Pine Level,” said Meteorologist James Spann. “The weather was perfect, the crowd was great, and everyone was so nice and so friendly. I love Pine Level, and I love going to the schools here. I love Pine Level Elementary, Marbury Middle School, and Marbury High School. This is a great place, great people, and it has been an honor to serve as the Grand Marshall at the 4th of July parade today.”

The parade started on County Road 107 at Spirit Walk Ministries and ended at the Pine Level Community Center.

Pine Level Mayor Zachary Bigley told the EAN, “I want to say thank you to everyone that showed up to support our Independence Day Celebration,” said Bigley.

He continued, “It is our second annual celebration of the town of Pine Level.
We had a lot of great community support. vendors, food trucks, our fire departments showed up, and the Autauga County Sheriff’s Department. I have to give a big shoutout to our team, volunteers, our town clerk Theresa Cook, and everybody that showed up to help with the setup and the teardown of the event. I am very thankful for all that Pine level has been able to accomplish in such a short time. The town of Pine Level is the jewel of Autauga County. It is an honor to be the mayor of this growing town.”

A special thank you to all the parade entries, vendors, and food truck participants.

The Independence Day Celebration was supported by:

Eleven86 Water, Tracy Fisher Photography, Nelson Entertainment, Space Walk Inflatables, and Pine Level Community Center.
