The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office held its 2nd Annual Fishing Rodeo in partnership with the Boy Scouts of America and the YMCA Field of Dreams participants this afternoon.

It was a  hot and fun day had by all!  The event was cut a little short due to thunder in the area, but it was still an enjoyable event.  Thank you to Boy Scouts of America for allowing us to use Camp Hobbs for this event again this year.

Thank you to the Department of Conservation for use of your fishing poles, and the Pine Level Volunteer Fire Department, Old Kingston Volunteer Fire Department, and Independence Volunteer Fire Department for covering us with medical personnel. Thank you to the Alabama State Troopers who work in our area for your assistance and fishing with our participants.

We would also like to say Thank You to our other sponsors that helped provide food, drinks, bait and trophies for the event today:  Winn-Dixie, Publix, Coca-Cola, Flowers Bakery, American Sport Fish, Big Bass Bait &Tackle, and C & C Trophy.  We would not be able to pull off this great event without your assistance.
