The adoption fees at PAHS will increase effective on June 1st, 2025. With the cost of everything rising, we are having to increase our dog/puppy adoption fee to $120; and our cat/kitten adoption fee to $75. If you price the cost of up-to-date vaccinations, rabies vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter you will see that the adoption fee of $120 for a dog/puppy; and $75 for a cat/kitten is still a very good deal. We have avoided raising our adoption fees for as long as we could. The new adoption fees will begin June 1st.
Katie is a beautiful 6-year-old female German Shepherd who has already been spayed. She is a return adoption because she does not get along with the owner’s other GSD. Katie has a light brown coat with a black saddle; isn’t she gorgeous? She weighs 62 pounds so she is considered to be a large adult dog. Katie is not only beautiful–she is so sweet, well behaved, and loving. She is leash trained, housetrained, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Katie is gentle and would fit right in with children in her home. Katie just wants to be loved; and the alpha of her new family. She needs to be in a home where she is the only dog. This playful beauty queen would appreciate a fenced yard where she could play. Katie loves anyone who shows her kindness and attention. This is a gorgeous dog who has been well taken care of and it shows! Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover microchips, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
