Smokehouse Pit BBQ unveils 2026 expansion ‘Cream Corner on Main’ during Chamber Morning Brew

Smokehouse Pit BBQ hosted a full house this morning for the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce Morning Brew.  Brenda Dennis, President and CEO of the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley, along with city councilmen, chamber members, chamber ambassadors, and local business representatives, to enjoy networking with breakfast and coffee.

Local business representatives always enjoy the chamber’s Morning Brews, and it is an easy way to network with other businesses. It allows networking with others that you may not otherwise get the chance to speak with during regular business hours.  This morning, Owner and Operators, Chris and Celeste Russo of Smokehouse Pit BBQ, announced a wide range of expansions coming to the famous barbeque establishment.  This diverse expansion will include the following:

An old-style “scoop” and serve ice cream parlor with 10-13 flavors and a nod to the original building and business that stood in this same spot years ago!

“Take and Bake Italian”

Private Venue Room for parties and meetings

Live Music on Friday nights and possibly Saturday nights

Bingo, where all proceeds go to local charities to give back to the local community

These additions will also encompass an open bar, perfect for relaxing on a Friday night with live music. Saturday nights may be included in the lineup for live music as well.

This extension of Smokehouse will be a nod to the original building and business that originally inhabited the Smokehouse building and will take part in the original name, Cream Corner, and become “Cream Corner on Main”. The original business included an ice cream parlor, and this is part of what the owners would like to bring back to the community.

The owners would love the community’s help in finding original pictures or any information they have on the original location and business.  The Russos want to keep history alive while creating something new for the community to enjoy.  If you or someone you know may have information about the old Cream Corner, please reach out to the Russos at Smokehouse Pit BBQ, located at 2461 Main Street Millbrook (334) 517-4949.
