Two people are deceased after an apparent domestic incident in a residential area of Marlette Court near Stanley-Jensen Stadium this afternoon. At no time were any others in danger, Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson told the EAN. There was no one else in the home at the time of the shooting other than those who are deceased.
The deaths took place inside of a home, and police received the call for assistance from neighbors around 5:53 p.m. today. The neighbors reported hearing shots fired from within the residence. When officers arrived, they discovered two people deceased inside the home.
“We will not be releasing any names regarding this incident, out of respect to the family members.,” Chief Mark Thompson said.
