PRATTVILLE CITYFEST CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
Prattville, AL – The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce announces the cancellation of today’s Prattville CityFest, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, due to severe weather conditions in the area.
“We previously communicated that CityFest is a rain-or-shine event,” said Brooke Glover, Marketing and Communications Director at the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce. “However, with the arrival of more severe weather including lightning and additional threats to public safety we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel.”
The safety of the public, vendors, volunteers, and performers remains the Chamber’s top priority. Organizers are actively exploring potential rescheduling options and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
“We are incredibly grateful for the community’s support and understanding,” Glover added. “We know how much everyone looks forward to CityFest each year.
