On Saturday, April 26, the Tallassee Police Department responded to a “subject shot” call in the 900 Block of Hickory Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the victim, Malik Allen.
Allen was transported by a private party to Tallassee Community Hospital, where he received emergency medical treatment.
Despite medical efforts, Allen was pronounced deceased.
According to Chief Todd Buce, Tallassee Police Department is continuing its active investigation into the shooting death of Malik Allen.
