On Sunday, April 27, Dakarian J. Hughley was taken into custody by the Tallassee Police Department in connection with the murder of Malik Allen. Hughley, who is currently cooperating with law enforcement, was identified as the primary suspect in the fatal shooting of Malik Allen, which took place on Saturday, April 26.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the Tallassee Police Department is encouraging anyone with additional information to come forward.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
