Emerson Boddie and Barrett Brown, of Edgewood Academy, have won AISA State Titles.
Both athletes traveled to Gulf Shores recently to compete in the high school AISA track and field state championship.
Boddie closed out her senior track season in spectacular fashion, capturing the AISA Girls Track State Championship in the 100-meter dash with a blazing new personal record.
Junior Barrett Brown finished the season with her third consecutive State Championship in Discus. Barrett set the state record with a throw of 120-5.
