Centerpoint Fellowship Church of Prattville hosted their third annual Easter Fest in Prattville on Sunday. This FREE event at the church had 200 volunteers, 10,000 eggs for the egg hunts, and over 2,000 families that attended the event.

Activities included ring toss, golf, duck pond, cupcake walk, face painting, bingo, crafts, rock wall, pony rides, petting zoo, and a wide variety of inflatables for the children to enjoy.

A new addition this year was an introduction of the Biblical characters, also known as, “Walking Thru the Bible.”

By the end of the event, children from birth to 11 years old went on egg hunts for their age group and collected thousands of eggs to take home.

Woody‘s Italian Ice and Bruster’s Real Ice Cream were on site handing out free cups of dessert for everyone that attended. Prattville Fire Department and Prattville Police Department were on site for static displays.

Gift cards from Academy, Chik-fil-A, AMC movies, Target, Walmart, and Launch Trampoline Park were given out to the lucky door prize winners.

“Our Easter Fest is an open house event that allows us to meet our neighbors and have fun together,” said Senior Pastor John Schmidt.

He continued, “We love being a part of the Prattville community.”

In the past, the lines have been very long due to the large amount of people attending. However, this year Centerpoint was prepared and made sure to increase the list of activities available which reduced the lines significantly. They increased the number of ponies from Jubilee Farms, added rock walls, more inflatables from Space Walk Inflatables, and games.

Centerpoint would like to give a special thank you to the Prattville Police Department, Prattville Fire Department, Woody’s Italian Ice, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Jubilee Farm for providing pony rides, and petting zoo, Space Walk Inflatables, the Rock Walls that came all the way from Newton, GA and the 200 amazing volunteers that helped make this event go very smoothly.

Centerpoint has a variety of Easter services happening this week for families to attend. A Good Friday Service on April 18th at  6 p.m. An Easter Sunrise service on April 20Th at 6 a.m. at the Homeplace Clocktower and two Easter Services on April 19th at 6 p.m. and three services April 20th at 8a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.
