In a capstone event for the 2024-2025 art classes of Stanhope Elmore, The Art Mill held a colorful reception featuring art on display in their gallery.

The art classes were taught by Delite Fedusenko of Stanhope Elmore. You could tell the sense of pride Mrs. Fedusenko had with her talented students as she made sure to take pictures with each and everyone. Fedusenko made sure to share with EAN that this was the third annual celebration of Stanhope Elmore Art Exhibit and Reception. The public was invited to attend as well as the students and their families Thursday night.

Attendees made their way through the gallery as they were able to see the contributions on display for a contest ribbon and exhibit of the student’s artwork. A delicious display of snacks and refreshments was available for all attending.

The Art Mill, located in the heart of downtown Millbrook is a colorful and creative space perfect for displaying the creative art of its local students. Danae Morgan, Cultural Arts-Special Events Director for The City of Millbrook and The Art Mill was happy to host the gallery of art as well as the reception.  Morgan told the EAN that they will have summer classes available as well as year-round classes for art, guitar, and piano. For more information contact Danae at the Millbrook Cultural Arts & Special Events through the City of Millbrook.

If you missed the event on Thursday night, be sure to stop by The Art Mill in downtown Millbrook, as the exhibition will be on display throughout the month of April.
