Dawn is the Pet of the Week
Dawn is a 2-year-old female Jack Russell Terrier mix who has already been spayed. She is a return adoption because the family’s other dog was not getting along with her and she enjoyed chasing the family’s chickens and cats. The chickens and cats apparently did NOT enjoy it at all.
Dawn has a white coat with lots of black markings–including one big black spot! Dawn only weighs 20 pounds, so she is the perfect size to fit in just about anywhere. She is friendly, and has a spunky little personality. Dawn would be good with children. She is not good with larger dogs; if you have another dog, we would require a meet and greet with your dog. Dawn is both house trained and leash trained. She is such a great little gal who can’t wait to have a new start on life with a loving family. She will thrive with lots of attention from her new family!
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
