The inaugural Beats and Eats event in downtown Prattville Friday evening was a delicious treat, with live entertainment from local musician Taylor Bagi.

This is a new series of events put on by the City of Prattville and the Cultural Arts Department and you have three more opportunities to take part this season. The next events are April 25, May 30 and June 27. Each event begins at 5 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m. The location is 203 W. Fourth Street (Cultural Arts Parking lot).

Friday night there was a great selection of local food trucks, games for kids, the music and a lot of visiting. Great food and music, children’s laughter, friends visiting made for a great opener for Beats and Eats. There are mor opportunities for this fun event coming, so when you When go, bring your lawn chairs or blankets!

For coming events, there will be a different lineup of sweet and savory food vendors from the previous month, offering up diverse, delicious options. We have updates as the next event comes closer.

Thank you, Taylor Bagi, all of the vendors and City staff who made it all possible.
