Elmore Autauga News
The Town of Autaugaville welcomed residents to the city’s park Saturday, to give their input on the future of the property. The town is interested in updating the park with new equipment, features and more. Officials said grants could be found to help with the expenses in the future.
The desire is to create an atmosphere that all ages can enjoy.
Attendees could enjoy snacks, a deejay for music, games and a raffle for a gift card.
This event was hosted by the Alabama Chapter of the American Planning Association (ALAPA) and Community Planning Assistance Teams (CPAT). These experts along with our friends from the Central Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission (CARPDC) were there to guide city officials in creating a community park that truly reflects the spirit of Autaugaville!
Your input is vital in this process! We are looking forward to working together to make this greenspace in Autaugaville a vibrant place for ALL to be proud of and enjoy! Be a part of creating a better town park for the community.
If you have suggestions on what you would like to see, please get in touch with Autaugaville Mayor Curtis Stoudemire, or any city employee or council person. You can also use the QR code from the event flyer in the gallery.
