The incident occurred at approximately 10:55 a.m. within the 700 Block of Dozier Road in Wetumpka when deputies with the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve an arrest warrant for Ebony Bracy, 40, of Wetumpka.

After receiving medical treatment, Bracy was arrested and officially charged with two counts of Attempted Murder of a Police Officer. Bracy was booked into the Elmore County Jail with a $2 million cash-only bond.

Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing. Once complete, the findings will be turned over to the Elmore County District Attorney’s Office.
