Montgomery Woman stabbed, Millbrook Woman in Custody

From Chief P.K. Johnson

Millbrook Police Department

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Millbrook police responded to a civil disturbance in the 800 block of Sweetwater Drive. Upon arrival, officers encountered an active disturbance, discovering one of the participants, Beyonce Scott, a 24-year-old Montgomery resident, suffering from stab wounds to both of her lower extremities. Witnesses on scene indicated to responding officers who the alleged offender was, at which point officers detained that individual, later identified as Madyson Eutsey, a 20-year-old Millbrook resident, and secured the scene.

Once the scene was secured, responding officers immediately rendered first aid to the victim, applying tourniquets to both of her legs. Paramedics from the Millbrook Fire Department responded and the victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Millbrook Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene to collect physical evidence and conduct an investigation. Pursuant to an investigation, Eutsey was placed under arrest, being charged with Assault 1st Degree. Eutsey was transported to the Millbrook Police Department for processing, later being transported to the Elmore County Jail, pending an arrest warrant being obtained and served.

Apparently, this incident began as a domestic altercation between two roommates, which resulted in one of the parties calling a former girlfriend to come pick her up. According to witnesses, when the former girlfriend arrived on the scene, she and the alleged offender got into an argument, during which the victim was stabbed in both of her lower extremities.

I want to commend our patrol officers that responded to this call. Once they detained the suspected offender, they quickly administered first aid to the victim, who apparently sustained life threatening injuries as a result of this assault. Their quick actions, along with the treatment and care provided by Millbrook paramedics, may very well have saved the victim’s life. While it’s not unusual to see this type of violence in domestic situations, we don’t encounter this level of violence in our city on a regular basis. It’s sad that a moment of anger can cause someone to act out, seriously injuring someone or ending their life, without consideration of their actions or the consequences that follow.
