OK all, time to get rockin’ on our upcoming Jordan’s Way LIVE Facebook fund-raising event coming up Saturday, March 8! https://www.facebook.com/donate/629863336592182/1044875847682053/
We are SO EXCITED to announce that Jordan’s Way will be joining us for a 3-hour LIVE fundraiser as part of their national tour! This event is scheduled for SATURDAY, MARCH 8th, from 10AM-1PM. It’s not just an opportunity to support a wonderful cause, it’s also a chance to have some fun right from home!
This event, hosted by Jordan’s Way, is all about raising funds for the HUMANE SOCIETY OF ELMORE COUNTY, and we need your help to make it a huge success. Whether you can donate $5 or $500, every contribution makes a real difference in the lives of homeless animals. It’s a great way to give back, and you’ll be part of a community coming together to support a vital cause. Please invite, tag, and share this event with everyone you know. The more people we reach, the more support we gain for these deserving animals. Expect an evening filled with fun, laughter, and special moments. Thank you in advance for your support and for joining us in this important effort to help animals in need. Let’s make it an event to remember!
This is a first for us and we have to start NOW to make this a success. While the LIVE event will take place from 10-1 on 8 March, NOW is the time to plan as we need VOLUNTEERS HERE on 8 March who can commit to be here from 8:30 am until 1 pm. We have to have a minimum of 30 Adult Volunteers WITH cell phones (please no children for their safety) as ALL of us will need to be reaching out to our friends, families, businesses, just everyone to ask them to please support. And yes, EVERY donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. We have to know who all is coming ahead of time so we know we have enough, so please answer here that you can absolutely commit, or message us or email us at [email protected] or talk to us at the Shelter as we will be keeping a list to make sure we have enough to make this a go and huge success!
If you can Volunteer and might also be willing to be “slimed” or be hosed with cold water, or eat a bug or a spicy gummy, or other such fun if we reach a goal or DON’T reach a goal please let us know that too.
Donations are up an running now at this link: https://www.facebook.com/donate/629863336592182/1044875847682053/
No doubt that the more we have banked ahead of next Saturday the easier it will be to reach the ultimate goal of $15,000! If you might be willing to match any donations up to a certain amount, please let us know as that can help spur folks to donate as well and there will be huge shout outs to those who can help match donations.
It would sure be fun to have some local leadership, business owners, law enforcement, first responders, pastors, etc willing to perhaps take a pie to the face or participate in a tortilla slap to help us raise even more funds as folks donate just to watch that fun happen. Please just let Rea know at the Shelter if you can find some time to stop by to participate in that.
Throughout and after we will be happy to recognize our donors and that includes businesses that might like to also donate anything like snacks, drinks, dog treats, small gifts for our participants – sky is the limit!
The key to this is we need participation starting now and all the way until the LIVE event ends at 1 p.m. 8 March – please share this wide and far and help us get everyone fired up for a wildly fun day of fund-raising here at the Humane Society of Elmore County.
