LYDIA BIRD, a sophomore at Tallassee High School, auditioned for and was chosen to the Alabama Bandmasters Association High School All-District Honor Band. Lydia was the only student from Tallassee High School who was selected for this honor. The final concert was held after a weekend of rehearsals in Auburn. The conductor was Auburn University’s Assistant Director of Bands, Dr. Nikki Gross. Congratulations, Lydia!
