From Autauga County 4-H
Recently, Kali Gilbert from Extension’s Human Sciences department presented “Escape Vapes” to our 4-H In-School Club at Marbury Middle School! The presentation was a huge eye-opener for students, faculty, and staff!
This program helps young people…
– Understand vaping devices, as well as physical and mental health risks of using these devices
– Gain awareness of the strategies that manufacturers and marketing agencies use to increase use among youth
– Strategize how to refuse an offer to vape, as well as resources to help someone quit vaping
In 4-H, we pledge our Head to clearer thinking, our Heart to greater loyalty, our Hands to larger service, and our Health to better living for our club, our community, our country, and our world 🍀❤
These students now have more knowledge to make healthy choices and protect themselves from the dangers of vaping!
