CrimeStoppers Reward Upgraded to $10,000; Unknown Subjects Wanted for Shooting into a Building

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a shooting into a building that occurred on Wednesday, 29 January 2025 at 12:30 a.m., where a juvenile was struck and seriously injured.

Montgomery District 6 City Councilman Oronde Mitchell and Montgomery County District 2 Commissioner Carmen Moore-Zeigler have each pledged $2,500 to the Central Alabama CrimeStoppers current reward of $5,000. This brings the total reward to $10,000, to be paid upon the arrest of anyone who provides information leading to the capture of those responsible for the crime.

Montgomery Police Chief Jim Graboys addressed the public on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, urging the offenders to turn themselves in immediately. Chief Graboys warned that failure to do so would result in the constant fear of being caught, stating, “You will be looking over your shoulder until justice is served.”
