County Commission
During the Elmore County Commission Meeting on December 9, the Commission approved a Resolution honoring the accomplishments of the Prattville Christian Academy (PCA) Volleyball team, as the 2024 Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) 4A State Champions.
This is the second State Title for PCA in the last three seasons. They won the 3A State Championship in 2022. The team, coached by Kaylon Cantrell, finished the season with a record of 45-14. Emma Cate Carter was selected the AHSAA 4A Tournament MVP, and teammates Maren Diefenderfer and Baylee Rogers were named to the Class 4A All-Tournament Team. Congratulations to the PCA Volleyball Team on their State Title and successful season.
