Millbrook Crash victim identified as Wetumpka man

Millbrook –A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, has claimed the life of a Wetumpka man. Mark E. Patterson, 45, was fatally injured when the 2014 Ford F150 he was driving left the roadway, continued traveling on private property, before overturning in a ravine. Patterson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Before the crash occurred, Patterson was being pursued by a deputy with the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office and Millbrook Police. The crash occurred on private property, near the Interstate 65 Service Road and Real Life Church in Millbrook, approximately three miles north of Montgomery, in Elmore County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
