On Saturday, the Alabama Nature Center, in collaboration with Realty Connection, hosted their annual FREE Creatures of the Night event alongside the 9th annual Halloween Carnival, drawing a record-breaking crowd.
“This is our biggest year yet, and right off the bat, we’ve had an explosion of people arriving. I am super excited about this day every year,” said Robin Davies, owner of Realty Connection and event host.
Guests were treated to an array of festive delights, including hotdogs, cotton candy, popcorn, and Halloween-themed treats. For the little ones, the event offered a balloon twister, face painting, and a massive inflatable slide.
The Millbrook Fire Department, Millbrook Police Department and Elmore County Sheriff’s Office also joined in on the fun, showcasing their vehicles for children to explore.
“I am honored to have our Millbrook Fire, Police, and the Elmore County Police Department here, along with some wonderful nonprofits like Butterfly Bridge and the Family Support Center. I’m also deeply thankful for our sponsors and everyone who came out to support this event,” added Davies.
Looking ahead, the next big event, the Easter Eggstravaganza, promises to be just as exciting. More details will be announced soon!
