Millbrook’s beloved AngelFest was held today at St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church, continuing a long-standing tradition that has been a local fixture for more than two decades. Held every third Saturday in October, the festival raises funds to support outreach efforts in the Millbrook area, bringing the community together for a day of fun, fellowship, and giving.

This year’s AngelFest marked the first for Rev. Mike Harber, who recently joined St. Michael’s as rector. “This is my first year as rector here, and I’ve been absolutely impressed with the way our small congregation pulls together in friendship and fellowship to make this wonderful event a success,” said Rev. Harber. For 18 years, Father Mark Waldo served as the priest, and this year, Rev. Harber proudly took on the role of leading the church through its cherished tradition.

The event featured a variety of local arts and crafts vendors, a children’s game area, and a silent auction with items created by the church’s Episcopal Church Women group. Meanwhile, the Men’s Group prepared BBQ and boiled peanuts for attendees to enjoy, adding to the festive atmosphere.

“It is truly a delight to be a part of all of this activity as St. Michael’s continues to serve Christ in Millbrook, as we have since our founding in 1953,” Rev. Harber added. “Our services are at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, and we invite everyone to join us.”

Located at 5941 Main Street in Millbrook, St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church is dedicated to serving the community, and AngelFest continues to be a key part of that mission. This year’s festival was a resounding success, further strengthening the bonds within the congregation and the community.
