AIM Thrift, operated by Adullam International Ministries (AIM), is currently collecting winter coats, gloves, hats, and hard candy for children aged 5-16 in Burnsville, North Carolina, who have been affected by Hurricane Helene.

As the cold weather approaches, the community is encouraged to donate items at AIM Thrift, located at 26 Firetower Rd. in Wetumpka, to help keep these children warm and bring them some joy during a challenging time.

The collection effort is urgent, as donations will be delivered on November 15th.

In addition to local donations, area schools like Holtville High School are stepping up to help with this cause. Students and staff are actively participating by gathering much-needed items for the children. Their involvement is a testament to the strong community spirit and the desire to make a difference in the lives of those affected by this natural disaster.

In addition to local donations, AIM has created an Amazon wishlist for those who wish to contribute from a distance. Supporters can purchase coats and other winter essentials and have them shipped directly to AIM by visiting this link: Purchase Coats Here.

Adullam International Ministries, a Wetumpka-based non-profit, has been dedicated to serving at-risk children and their families since the early 1990s. What started as a local mission has now grown into a global outreach, providing aid and support to vulnerable children worldwide.

“We will be providing each child with a warm jacket for the winter and also hosting a fun-filled festival while we’re there. We want these children to feel loved and remembered. Most importantly, we want them to know that the Lord loves them and sees them,” said Emma Hamby, a representative from AIM.

Through their Kingdom-focused mission, AIM continues to bring hope and support to children in need, and this collection drive is another powerful way they are extending their reach to the families of Burnsville.
