This week, the Alabama Association of Secondary School Principals (AASSP) and the Alabama Association of Middle School Principals (AAMSP) hosted their District IV meeting in Opelika, where top educators from across Region 4 were celebrated for their exceptional leadership and contributions to education.
During the meeting, three outstanding local school administrators were recognized as the Region 4 award winners for their dedication to their schools and communities:
- Loukisha Brooks, Wetumpka Middle School, was named Middle School Principal of the Year for her exemplary leadership and commitment to student success.
- April Emmanuel, Wetumpka Middle School, was honored as Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year for her outstanding support and guidance in fostering a positive learning environment.
- Sean Kreauter, Holtville High School, received the High School Principal of the Year award, recognizing his exceptional ability to lead and inspire both students and staff.
“I’m honored to be named the District IV High School Principal of the Year. It’s a nice recognition for Holtville High School and a testament to the hard work happening here. This award highlights our teachers and staff, who do their best for our students every day. I also want to acknowledge our students, who are putting in the effort to reach their goals. We’re all in this together, and this recognition showcases our commitment to excellence,” said Kreauter.
These honorees exemplify the excellence in education that the AASSP and AAMSP strive to promote. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, vision, and passion for education in Region 4. Congratulations to these dedicated leaders!
