Prattville Community Church hosting bake sale, asking for donations for Hurricane relief

Many have asked the EAN how they can help the many victims of Hurricane Helena.

Prattville Community Church is hosting a Hurricane Disaster Relief event to help those affected in Douglas, Georgia.

A bake sale will be offered from now through Oct. 10. You can visit their Facebook page under Prattville Community Church to see what kinds of cakes are available. Cash donations are also welcome.

Pick up location for your orders is 266 West 5th Street in Prattville. To donate online, visit their Facebook page.

Also, now through Oct. 10 the church is requesting the following items to be donated:

Non perishable foods, pop tops, baby formula request (Gentle Ease and NeuroPro Formula), toiletries, feminine products, First Aid products, juice bottles, refillable water jugs, Aquatainer 7 gallons available at Walmart, charcoal, books for kids, small toys, Water, peanut butter, foil, baggies, To Go boxes, paper plates, sleeping bags, blankets, air mattresses, paper towels, toilet paper, baby supply needs, medicine for babies, Motrin or Tylenol, baby water gallons, baby clothes, pullups 4-5-6, diaper rash cream, Pedialyte, elderly needs, sugar free items for diabetics, Boost shakes, Glucerna shakes.

Drop off location is Prattville Community Church at 266 West 5th Street. Please Have All Donations at the church by 8 p.m. this Thursday Night, as members will be leaving Friday morning to take supplies to Douglas, Ga.
