The Millbrook area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for The Worx Auto Detail Tuesday morning, however The Worx is far from new to the area, where their slogan is let the city shine one vehicle and vessel at a time.

The Worx is located at 2161 B Main Street in Millbrook and owned by Kyle Jenkins has officially opened in Millbrook. Jenkins has been in the business for over 20 years and attributes his success to his father and other businesses that he has learned from in the River Region.

Jenkins stated that his father taught him how to take care of vehicles, boats, motorcycles, or anything with a motor. Learning to take care of the mechanical aspect but also how to correctly take care of exteriors and interior detailing.

“I’ve been in this shop six months now, and none of the stuff in store is bought at box stores or over the counter. This is straight from my suppliers. I do this the professional way and do it the correct way,” Jenkins said.

“It’s been a beautiful blessing to be here in Millbrook, we service paint correction, ceramic coating, marine detail, and mobile detailing. We also have some things in the works in the near future so stay tuned,” Jenkins said.

Jenkins stated to stay up to date with everything The Worx is doing, they can be reached on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok as well as by phone at 334 -782 -4633 or email, [email protected]

In attendance were many members of the community, the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce president Brenda Dennis, Millbrook Chamber ambassadors, including ambassador chairman Jordan Holloran, bord members and Millbrook City Council woman Jacquelyn Thomas and others.

Also, in attendance were three local food trucks to commemorate the ribbon cutting for The Worx, Ricos Tacos, The Local Lemon and Crepe Magic.
