Thursday night Village Green Park in Millbrook was rocking with the sounds of the popular local band Jeff and the Johnsons. It is all part of Millbrook’s FREE Tunes on the Green concert series.

Jeff brought up a special guest, Colton, who performed on electric guitar for his first public performance. He nailed it!

If you missed it, you have two more chances before this concert series ends for the season. See below for more information.

Winn Dixie of Millbrook was a proud sponsor of the event, organized by Danae Morgan and the Millbrook Cultural Arts and Special Events Department.

There were plenty of refreshments available courtesy of Norris Concessions and The Local Lemon. Bubbles flew through the air, as kids raced to chase them and the Kid Zone stayed busy.

The Punishers LEMC Three Rivers Chapter had a motorcycle on display and tickets were available for a chance to win! The Punishers are once again raising funds for the Millbrook Police Department Blue Santa event. The Punishers will have a Blue Santa Ride and concert at their club house off Friendly Pines Road in Coosada Sept. 21. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, food and music. The public is welcome! For more information, visit their Facebook event page at  https://www.facebook.com/events/881709923523539

Thank you, City of Millbrook, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Millbrook Police Department and Millbrook Winn Dixie for making this great night possible.

There are two more chances to enjoy a FREE Tunes on the Green concert at Village Green:
