The Prattville Farmers Market will close out its season Saturday, so this is your last chance to take advantage of some local, homegrown or homemade goodness!
The market is located at The Grove, at 350 Doster Street in Prattville. This is right across from the Gillespie Senior Center. The hours are 7 a.m. to noon. The earlier you get there, the better, as things tend to go fast.
You never know exactly what will be available, but in general you can expect flowers and plants, all kinds of fruit and vegetables, local honey, baked goods, various meats, and much more. Remember, 100 percent of the proceeds the day of the market go right back to our local farmers and vendors.
