Pine Level, AL — The Pine Level Volunteer Fire Department is excited to announce a community fundraiser aimed at upgrading and enhancing its firefighting and emergency response equipment. The fundraiser will take place at key community gatherings, ensuring ample opportunity for community participation.

Event Details:

• Friday, August 30, 2024: Noon to Dusk at the intersection of Hwy 31 and County Road 40, Pine Level, Alabama.

• Friday, August 30, 2024: Evening at Marbury High School, before the home football game.

• Saturday, August 31, 2024: 7:00 AM to Noon at the intersection of Hwy 31 and County Road 40, Pine Level, Alabama.

The funds raised from this event will directly support the purchase of vital equipment, protective gear, and medical supplies. These enhancements will help improve the safety and efficiency of the services provided by our dedicated firefighters.

“We are calling on our community to help us in these efforts. Every donation, big or small, will contribute to not just maintaining but improving our readiness and response capabilities,” said Austin Worcester, Fire Chief of Pine Level Volunteer Fire Department. “We invite everyone to join us at these events, meet our team, and see firsthand how these contributions will be utilized.”

Community members are encouraged to bring cash donations, which can be prepared by visiting local ATMs or by obtaining cash back during regular shopping trips.
