On Sunday, Prattville First Methodist Church hosted their annual Back to School Bash event at the YMCA Bradford Branch in Prattville. This is their seventeenth year the the event.
Over 150 people from the community came out to this FREE event. Everyone enjoyed spending time with one another, playing games, and it was a wonderful way to invite new families to learn more about their church.
Dinner was provided which included hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies, and drinks. The night consisted of a gift basket giveaway, basketball, swimming, BINGO with prizes, cornhole and other fun games for all ages. A playground nursery was available for small children.
Pastor Larry Patton became the church’s new Senior Lead Pastor in May 2024. He has over 31 years of ministry experience and in 2023, he transferred his ordination to the Global Methodist Church.
“Thank you to Pastor Daniel Patrick, Music Minister Jeremy Pyles, all of our volunteers, and all those who made it a fun night to be together and kick off all of our fall activities,” said Patton.
