Are you ready for the delicious rolls with the Texas Roadhouse signature fluffy cinnamon butter?

Well get ready Prattville, opening day is Monday August 19th. However, their soft opening started today for friends and family only, after the inaugural ribbon cutting hosted by the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce.

“This is one of my favorite restaurants and I’m so glad that it’s here in Prattville, so I don’t have to go to Eastern to get my favorite food,” Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman elect, Jimmy Morris, Jr., said during introductory comments.

The manager of the Texas Roadhouse Prattville location is Prattville native Blaine Cockrell who thanked everyone for being in attendance, while also thanking the unwavering support of his staff and especially his wife and family.

Cockrell stated he has been with the company for over eight years but has been in the restaurant industry the last 17 years. His goal is to help the community as much as possible, while upholding the highest standards for his restaurant.

“Happy to bring what we do here at Texas Roadhouse back home. We want to help with fundraising, catering and donations. Anything in the community that we can be a part of,” Cockrell said.

During the soft opening for friends and family only, Cockrell confirmed that all alcohol sales for Friday will go to the ALS association and all alcohol sales on Saturday will go to another organization called Fostering Homecoming.

Many members of the community packed the entryway to the Texas Roadhouse Prattville location, located on Legends Parkway in Prattville. In attendance was State representative Jerry Starnes, Prattville Mayor Bill Gillespie, Prattville City Council President Lora Lee Boone, members of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, Autaugaville Mayor Curtis Stoudemire, the Autauga County Commission and family members of Cockrell.

“I grew up here and it’s been a dream of mine to open my own restaurant in my hometown. As soon as I got into the restaurant industry, that was just what I wanted to do. You know, 17 years later, here I am back in Prattville, opening what I hope to be the busiest and best restaurant to ever hit the city,” Cockrell said.
