MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle occurred at approximately 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, has caused a lane closure. The left/inside southbound lane of Interstate 65 near the 226 mile marker in Chilton County is closed and will be for an undetermined amount of time. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene directing traffic while recovery crews begin to remove the vehicle. ALEA Troopers will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
