The Alabama State Games, in partnership with the @AHSAA Radio Network, announces The Gold Standard Student-Athlete of the Week. Each week a student-athlete from throughout the state will be chosen exemplifying the GOLD STANDARD.

She is involved in multiple clubs and groups around campus as well as within her church community. She leads by example first and then holds her teammates to the same standard she holds herself to.”

WHAT ARE THE ALABAMA STATE GAMES?
The Alabama State Games is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1982 at the request of the U.S. Olympic Committee. Since 1982, the Alabama State Games has grown into the state’s largest annual multi-sport competition with nearly 5,000 athletes (of all ages and abilities) competing in 27 sports. The core beliefs are academic excellence, healthy lifestyle choices and good citizenship. We have awarded over $363,000 in academic scholarships through our Scholarship Initiative Program. We believe anyone and everyone can be the GOLD STANDARD.
